Setting the Trigger Output

To set the trigger output: Read This First

  1. If necessary, open a SignalTap® II File (.stp), or create a new STP File.

  2. In the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer window, click the Setup tab.

  3. Under Signal Configuration, turn on Trigger Out.

  4. In the Level list, select Active High or Active Low.  More Details

  5. To assign the trigger output signal to a device I/O pin with the Assign Pins dialog box:

    6. Checkmark Follow steps 2 through 21 in Assigning Pins.


  6. If you want to rename the trigger output pin, type the name of the pin in the Target box.
