Adding an Entry to a Mnemonic Table



To add an entry to a mnemonic table:

  1. If necessary, open a SignalTap® II File (.stp), or create a new STP File.

  2. If necessary, create a bus in the SignalTap II Logic Analyzer.

  3. Choose Mnemonic Table Setup (Edit menu). Shortcut

  4. In the Table list, select a mnemonic table.

  5. To add a numerical entry to a mnemonic table:

    1. Click Add Entry.

    2. In the Value box, type a numerical value.

    3. Select a radix in the Radix list.

    4. Type a mnemonic in the Mnemonic box.

    5. Click OK.

  6. To add a logic condition or output level entry to a mnemonic table:

    1. In the Pattern column, click <new entry>.

    2. Type a value that is displayed in the Pattern Legend.

    3. In the Mnemonic column, click <new entry>.

    4. Type a mnemonic name.

    5. Click OK.


To delete an entry from a mnemonic table:

  1. In the Table Entries list, select an entry.

  2. Click Delete Entry.

  3. Click OK.
